Compared to the smaller Grit 28, the Skala features a removable hip belt in a fast-belt style with spacious zippered pockets.
Constructed from Riptide Ripstop 100D Recycled Robic Nylon with a 1500mm polyurethane coating, the Skala 38 boasts exceptional water resistance and resilience against the elements. The incorporation of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) stretch mesh enhances durability while maintaining a lightweight profile. Weighing a total of 578 grams—comprising a 411-gram pack, a 102-gram hip belt, and a 64-gram removable foam pad—this backpack exemplifies ultralight design without compromising on essential features.
The Skala 38’s frameless architecture is complemented by ergonomic, cushioned shoulder straps with perforated foam, reducing weight and providing easy-access pockets for essentials like phones or snacks.
